My husband converted this Cob Barn into a beautiful one level cottage. Full of character, and very comfortable and cosy! It is perfect for either one family with up to three children or two couples. Fantastic location as we are one mile from Polzeath and two miles from Rock. However, we are in a very rural spot so far from the maddening summer crowds - yet on the doorstep of everything. We welcome dogs but do charge a small extra cleaning charge of £15 per dog. Please do check with us first. The living space is in between the two bedrooms - an open plan sitting room with kitchen at one end. Two double sofas and a table that can seat six easily. The main bedroom has a King Double bed and the main feature are the huge oak doors that can open out into the garden with wonderful in land views. The second bedroom has a raised cabin style double bed -with a small in built wooden ladder. There is also a fantastic cabin area built under the bed which children love to sleep in (there is a light in there). We supply a mattress as a third bed for either in the cabin or on the floor. the bathroom is next door to the main bedroom with a bath and overhead shower. We do not supply sheets and towels. We recommend using a local linen service if you do not want to bring your own.
