Barbara’s house is beautiful and a great base for exploring the Green Perigord! The house was spacious and well equipped, we loved eating outside and spending time by the pool. There was lots to do nearby (as well as further afield). We made the most of local markets (which were plentiful) and evening fetes (the nearest during our stay being in Saint Marcel du Perigord). We’d recommend a visit to Auberge Les Cedres in nearby Saint Marcel du Perigord for anyone wanting a delicious meal and the bakery in Saint Georges de Montclard. Ghislaine - who welcomed us to the accommodation- was lovely and made us feel at home and well looked after. Barbara was an excellent host - thank you very much!

The location was great for exploring the Dordogne- very rural. and just 30 mins from Bergerac. The host, Barbara was fantastic and very accommodating. Although Barbara wasn't there during our stay she made sure we had everything we needed and had a local manager to hand to assist us. Although she was away- there was just a door separating her private residence from the house( which could be a problem for some who may require more privacy) The pool was fantastic - super clean and well a maintained. It was very private and a real highlight of the holiday! The house had everything you would need although was very rustic and could do with updating ( we understand this must be challenging with an older house) Whilst we stayed it was extremely hot; we would have benefited from some fans. Outside the path to the pool from the house was uneven with some steep steps, as were the stairs - this could be problematic for those with some mobility issues or older guests. Overall a great stay !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Barbara, qui est une hôte très attentionnée et attentive. Nous avons fortement apprécié l'extérieur du logement, qui est très grand et agréable l'été.

Lovely home: looks so pretty and french from the front, spacious garden with large dining patio table. Pool good size, and deep enough for jumping and diving at the deep end, and the automatic pool hoover kept it pristine during our stay. House well equipped - excellent wifi, good tv with streaming services, well equipped kitchen with plenty of kit Very peaceful location, easy to find, and very easy from Bergerac airport. A nearer shop and bar would have been a bonus, but not far.
