House was perfect for a group of 8, clean and spacious. Only negative is we arrived on the same day as a snow storm and the road in front of house as well as driveway was not easily travelled and stayed iced over for several days due to being shaded. The description says 4wd needed, definitely accurate. Even so we enjoyed the location and privacy!

Shelley’s mountain getaway was a perfect retreat for our family vacation. In January it offered a winter wonderland with hills to sled down with kids and a hot tub to enjoy in the snow after the kids went to bed. Shelley is a super responsive and helpful host. With her highly detailed instructions and information we hardly had any questions throughout our stay. I look forward to coming back in the summertime!

This house is awesome! It is by other houses but you definitely have the isolation you would want. The driveway is a little tricky as it is very sharp curve into it. You most definitely need to have 4WD!!! We received LOTS of snow while there and some of our vehicles didn’t make it due to not being 4WD. Would for sure recommend this house for larger parties….we had 8 adults plus 2 kiddos and we had plenty of space!

Beautiful cabin, extremely clean, very peaceful setting. We felt right at home. It was the perfect spot for a getaway with our growing family. We had plenty of room, great layout. Wonderful host and very fast response. We will definitely be back!

We had such a special Christmas in Durango. The place was beautiful and gave my kids the white Christmas they were dreaming of. The cabin is cozy, beautiful and had everything we needed without being too cluttered. We had no problems with anything, check in and out was easy. Description is accurate, you absolutely do need four-wheel drive to get up the driveway. Not a problem for us, but absolutely necessary in the winter!
