The views and accommodations exceeded our expectations. We do agree that having a car is a big plus.

Excellent views of the lake. Matilde communicated well in advance with instructions on how to get there and how to get in. GPS gave us a little problem. Eventually we figured out. Matilde was very responsive with all our questions. Unfortunately, could not enjoy the patio because it rained most of the time. Will definitely go back if we are in the area.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Be prepared to be knocked out by the view… It is a little bit of a hike up the mountain to get there but that’s the price you have to pay for that view. You can walk around for an hour just looking at all of the beautiful, decorations and antiques… Wonderful. All of her restaurant recommendations were spot on… We loved them all

Welcome home! A very beautiful house, endowed with a stunning view over lake Como. Matilde's house is really well-decorated, cosy and comfortable, fully equipped. We love cooking, and we found all the kitchen equipment we needed. Coffee and a nice bottle of sparkling wine were awaiting us, which is always a valuable attention. Please note that the access to the house can be tricky if your car is large, for the path that leads to the place is quite narrow. However, the house has a garage, which is REALLY great in the region, where parking can easily become a nightmare. We really enjoyed our stay.
