Happy Plaice is an absolutely brilliant place to stay. Right on the wharf in a working fishing port, it is lively outside, but peaceful in the apartment. It is beautifully appointed, comfortable and very clean. Kate and Andy have created something very special here. Mevagissey is a lovely Cornish village. A stay here is totally relaxing. 100% recommended.

Lovely apartment, clean and tidy. Excellent communication from Kate and Andy who provided lots of help and advice. Lots of extras, especially the fudge! well above expectations . Amazing views. Would definitely recommend and will go back again. Definitely a home from home.

This ‘Happy Plaice’ was absolutely amazing. We 100% will come back here it was spotlessly clean, Kate and Andy obviously have very high standards and have thought of everything you would need whilst being away from home, to make your stay memorable and comfortable! What a beautiful apartment. Immaculately clean with everything you could want. The decor is excellent & the attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The shower is fantastic too. And what a location! Everything is within walking distance & the car park is very close to the accommodation. We had no issues stopping for a few minutes at the property to load/unload. Everything was just so easy. And how can I not mention the view…? It’s a view I could never get tired of & the comfortable chairs beside the windows is a nice touch too. The milk & biscuits were appreciated & I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone thinking of visiting Cornwall.

What a wonderful place in a wonderful village. Mevagissey is our favourite Cornish village with a picturesque harbour and boats coming and going. The apartment has great views with everything we needed. We were able to find free overnight parking until 9am. Thank you Kate and Andy.
