The heat didn’t work in master suite and neither heat or ac works upstairs. Fortunately I brought my own Roku since nothing else worked as far as entertainment systems. House was in disrepair throughout and the “upstairs living area” was out of order! Fortunately I didn’t need the upstairs. Advertisement was for “beautiful” 1920s home. It had some nice stuff, but working Hvac would have been better. Termites were visibley tunneling, but it didn’t affect my stay. The broken window in the living room surely contributed to the noise and cold. I didn’t want a repair team interfering with my visit so I remained there in quiet and the rest of the downstairs was fairly warm. The space heater was definitely needed it made it ok but should not be required, IMHO.

Very nice house, and very big

This is an older house. There is some older charm that comes with it. I enjoy the feel of an old house but there are some things that will keep the charm but make it more pleasurable. With that said, the furniture could be updated and more comfortable. The main couch in the living room was broken, there was one recliner that didn’t work. Looks like it is an electric recliner but no control for it. We were only there for two days so it was not a big deal for us. If we were to stay longer I feel that it would have been frustrating. One of the stairs going upstairs was broken, and could be easily missed if not careful. Be careful for the step up going into the kitchen. You will bust your toes on it in the middle of the night.

We really enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place! It was conveniently located and we were able to walk the kids down to the local diner and to the arcade! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area!
