We loved our stay. Harry was so welcoming and everything had been thought of. The villa is in a beautiful location with stunning views and lots of seating areas to choose from. The beds are very comfortable, lots of hot water and a really well stocked kitchen. They even have a salad spinner which gives you an indication of how well resourced it is. Whereas some places leave you with the exact number of dishwasher tablets Harry and Eleni gave a plentiful supply of everything. We were given freshly baked treats from Harry’s mum in law. Delicious… The interior fixtures fittings and furniture are comfortable and elegant. The gardens, outside seating, patios and pool are beautiful. This is a quiet and underdeveloped are of Crete with beautiful beaches, friendly locals and some great walks to be had. Bee eaters in the garden, vultures on the cliffs, hen harriers and a sky full of swallows and swifts. Absolutely perfect.

Krásná vila uprostřed olivových hájů, naprostý klid, žádní lidé v okolí. Vybavení dle popisu, vše moderní, vkusné a funkční. Úžasný bazén s čistou a teplou vodou, terasa s výhledem do krajiny, stinná pergola skvělá pro posezení u snídaně. Hostitel okamžitě reagoval na dodatečné dotazy, doporučené taverny v okolí splnily naše očekávání.

A WONDERFUL airbnb experience, like when Airbnb began. Harri met us personally at the house and was kind and flexible to accommodate our earlier check in time. They were always quick to respond and made us feel more than at home and welcome. The details on arrival such as staples to get you started, the things you don’t bring when you are travelling like olive oil (they have their own organic olive farm and had the oil there for us), dishwasher tablets, etc, down to a lovely full fruit bowl and a homemade cake! Just so lovely and appreciated. The house is exactly as pictured. Clean, with everything you need. The outdoor area is magnificent, the peace and tranquillity by the pool is second to none, looking down the valley with the gorge is serene. The area surrounding the house is pristine, a very relaxed, non touristy location. The beaches are crystal clear, with bright blue water, some with sand some with pebbles and rocks. Hiking a plenty in the area as well. Thank you guys!

It is the most amazing place we have stayed in Crete, and we have been travelling through the island for the last five years. Villa Agrilia has all the comforts, its view on the valley is breathtaking, and the garden with olive trees and flowers is glorious. It takes a ten minutes drive to visit beaches with cristal water, to walk in a shadowed canyon and visit zakros springs. On top of this, Harry and Heleni are just the perfect hosts, always available, kind and easy going.
