We had a large group and there was enough space for everyone. It was even more beautiful in pictures. Little hidden gem (wished we had know sooner lol) there is a bakery 2 doors down!!! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!! From the relaxing seating on the porch, to the beautiful flowers out front.... this was the prefect spot for morning coffee. Our only regret is we didn't stay an extra day to enjoy the outdoor grill and fire pit. The added extras (snacks and essentials) were such a nice touch. The host was so kind and responsive to my questions, I hope to make it back down and stay here again in the future!

Our family got together for Thanksgiving in this large, comfortable historic inn. Kris was so friendly and accommodating to our needs, providing extra cots and infant beds, and also providing plenty of kitchen appliances/tools to prep a very large meal.. She even purchased a gas grill so we could grill outdoors! Everyone had plenty of room, and there was enough space for kids to play, and for adults to visit and relax. I highly recommend the Sugar Maple Inn for any large family wanting to get together in charming, comfortable rooms with a warm, inviting atmosphere.

We booked this places for a friends and family vacation. Everyone even the teenagers liked it ! Hiked devils bathtub and went to natural tunnel! The kids loved the ice cream place a couple doors down. Comfy beds open floor plan.

We absolutely loved the Inn. We took a girls trip to see a play in Abingdon, Va to see the play Footloose and decided to stay here because we each would get our own room. What we found was a beautiful Inn with a huge kitchen and dinning room. We also had a piano room, a wonderful sitting room and a bed and bath for each of us, with extra beds. The Inn is downtown and just a couple doors down from a wonderful bakery! I highly recommend. The restaurant choices are limited but you are near other locations that have lots of choices. The antique furniture is gorgeous. We found a very creative experience just 5-10 minutes away that host bluegrass and county music every Friday night. The band was amazing, the host were delightful and it’s free. ( Allen Hicks Friday Night Jams) The Inn host were very quick to respond and check in and out were the easiest I’ve ever experienced. I would highly recommend.

This house is huge! Amenities galore! Needed nothing. Perfect gathering place tor large families. Our family will book again! Loved it.
