Take a break and unwind at this peaceful location. Your garden at Laurel Cottage is secure and for you sole use although the garden has recently be planted it is not yet totally secluded . The cottage has just had a complete refit (June 2023) boasting new kitchen, bathroom, carpets flooring, windows and various other fittings thus ensuring that your stay with us should be comfortable and relaxing. Laurel Cottage is set in a semi rural location with views across the country side and limited sea views. The living area is open plan to include the lounge dining area and kitchen , French doors lead to the garden that is fully secure. The hallway leads to three separate bedrooms and the shower room.

Lovely clean and comfortable bungalow

Jane was a super host, friendly and helpful. The bungalow was very clean and nicely presented. The weather wasn't so great in March but the accommodation was lovely and warm. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for the whole family. The lovely enclosed garden was great for our dog and small children. The bungalow is situated in a quiet rural location which we loved, but recommend a car to get around. The beach was only a 5 minute drive where we could walk our dog everyday. All in all we had a lovely stay , we can highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

Laurel cottage is central to the Isle of Sheppey. Sheerness, Minster, Leysdown , Queenborough and Harty are all a short drive away. Sheppey boasts two blue flag beaches Minster Leas and sheerness. Just off the Island you are in easy reach of further blue flag beaches including Tankerton, St Mildreds Bay, Joss Bay and many more. From Sheerness train station there are good connections to London, Canterbury and Dover. For more information on Sheppey have a look at the visit Kent web site.

It's Best to have your own transport but there is a bus stop about half a mile away. There are also a few taxi firms that operate on the Island.
