It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Cher and Reuben's beautiful farm. The tent itself is gorgeous - bright, spacious, thoughtfully put together with personal knickknacks and eco-friendly to boot. A basket of goodies was a wonderful surprise. Both Cher and Reuben are extremely responsive and Reuben kindly came down several times to help us when we needed it and also to make sure that everything was ok. We were provided free logs and kindling for the fire pit and the wood stove to keep us warm during indoors and outdoors. It was quiet enough to wake up to the sounds of birds and beautiful at night with a blanket of stars visible in the night sky. My daughter enjoyed spending time outdoors with the goats, Pickle and Lilli, went wild with joy to see wild rabbits, watched the horses and runner ducks nearby and in general had a wonderful time playing in the heart of nature. Our stay was so pleasant, peaceful and refreshing that two days felt too little and we would love to return.

Cher was a responsive and helpful host from beginning to end. If you want an escape to a quiet, peaceful place then Cher and Reuben’s is for you. Sunflower Staycation was in its own private fenced area with logs around a fire pit, deckchairs provided and the tent was clean, nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. The log burner kept us super warm and the fire pit toasting marshmallows under the stars was perfect. Lovely walks around the area and the mischievous goats kept us entertained! Thank you for a lovely weekend, we’ll be back!
