The most spectacular location - incredible views, with unparalleled views of the Kingsbridge Estuary. Our tent was wonderful, a combination of simplicity and comfort. The fire pit was brilliant for an evening BBQ watching the sun set over the estuary. With only five tents, it was mega peaceful…….and we had bonkers weather so had one night on our own! Given the ferocity of the storm, it was testament to the sturdiness of their tents that we stayed warm and dry! The hot shower and the compost loo are basic but perfectly functional - much needed after a long trek on the SW Coast Path. The Mess Tent has all you need for a communal cooking area, so you don’t need any cooking paraphernalia. John was very welcoming when we arrived and got us settled super quick. This is a truly glorious location, rustic and charming. But be warned it is on the rustic end of glamping - perfect if that is what you want!!

Incredible views and lovely communal feel to the camp site. Great for toddlers to roam free and visit the working farm. Thanks for the tour John! Beautiful beaches right on the doorstep.

Hard to describe just how beautiful the views are from the tent. Tent based in wildflower meadow with a panoramic view of the valleys and the estuary below. Epic. Dramatic. The bed is super comfortable and the tea light chandelier added a super romantic touch to evenings in the tent. Fab to sit at the bonfire and watch the sun go down. Unforgettable. John and Gemma were brilliant hosts (thank you, John for suggesting the brilliant Pig’s Nose Inn - what a gem). We will be back x

My family and I had a wonderful stay. It was incredible to reconnect to nature, be surrounded by such beauty and have a wonderful and comfortable camping experience. There was a communal area on the campsite that had everything you needed to cook food. The hosts of the site were super helpful and very quick to respond and really went out of their way to provide the best service. There were guitars on camp you could play, a couple of games for adults and kids to enjoy like swing ball but the most spectacular part was the view! To sit watching the sunrise and sunset around a campfire toasting marshmallows was our idea of perfection. Simple and beautiful. Suzanne
