Booked this place to accommodate large family coming from out of state to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint! Very clean, spacious yet warm & cozy. Modern kitchen amenities yet the home itself retained much of its quaint, country charm. We enjoyed feeding the chickens everyday and the fresh eggs the host left out for us were very much a part of our breakfast. Sitting out in the back patio very early in the morning in a serene, private setting with just the sound of the chickens and the rooster was quite a relaxing start to the day. Overall five stars! Great responsive host, she allowed us late check out as we brought so much stuff and we needed time to pack up. Thank you! Our party of 8 had a great memorable time and for sure that was one birthday celebration I will always remember!

Nice, clean, updated house. Enough room for my family of 4 and 2 dogs. Shopping within 10 mins, and dining 10 - 30 mins. We were looking for a private place to relax and enjoy some family time without the hustle. This place allowed us to be together and still enjoy the area. The outlet mall is 10 mins away and Galveston offered great food, just 30 mins away. Also, the Kemah boardwalk was nearby. The home was clean, the chickens friendly, and the a/c was cool. Katia was quick to respond when we asked for an extra day. If I were ever in the area I would stay again. Thank you!

the house and yard were beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the location was very convenient.
