Hayne Barn Estate – our private estate - is 20 minutes walk to Saltwood village, where buses go to Hythe and Folkestone. 8 minutes walk across the woods to Sandling station which has regular links to London, Dover and Folkestone but if it rains you need to follow the road and that takes 35 minutes. A car is recommended but for those who enjoy walking or cycling it is not a problem. Taxis are available. The pretty town of Hythe is just 2 miles away and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a beach for enjoying a sport of swimming or water sports.
