Hayne Barn Estate : a unique and private getaway. Our splendid brand new, Ecolodge "Badger" : built from sustainable materials and natural larch exterior, set amongst the trees. Ideal for one couple wishing to relax away from hectic life. Splendid en-suite bedroom, fully equipped lounge/kitchen, Spacious veranda with a built in lbarbecue. Delightful, very private eco hot tub on separate decking. 2 minutes from public footpath, splendid walks, and mountain biking; beach only 2 miles away. "Badger" is on the private and splendid grounds of Hayne Barn Estate; it is cosy, comfortable, fully equipped with high specifications and fully heated for winter retreats. We have one other delightful ecolodge "Squirrel" nearby, very private, nicely separated by growing trees, making it ideal for 2 couples wishing to spend time together but remaining independent. The same applies for our 2 luxury yurts, "Woodpecker" and "Pheasant" all with eco tubs and spacious verandas, Find us under haynebarnestate and follow us on the social medias. We do ask our guests to be respectful of other guests and to remain discreet at all times. Quiet times after 20.00 pm.

Badger is a small lovely lodge , perfect for a couple. I would definitely recommend it .
Thank you so much for our stay! The place was beautiful & so peaceful. The cabin was cosy and decorated really nicely. We had a bit of trouble with our hot tub draining which meant we couldn’t use it the first night. But hosts were lovely and gave us more wood so once we got it going it was great! Be aware to give time for heating up and you will need to buy extra logs after first night but overall, was a lovely peaceful few nights and just what we needed! Location is beautiful right in the middle of the countryside and hosts were very responsive & helpful! Thanks Marie & Theresa

Enjoy our rich area, from Dover Castle, Hythe miniature railway, Hythe military canal to Rye, the famous Harbour Arm in Folkestone, the lovely beaches with clean water to Port Lymphe Safari park only 4 miles away. We offer you a 25% discount for Port Lymphe safari Park. Canoës-kayaks on the canal, bike rentals available in Marine Parade in Hythe .
Hayne Barn Estate is 20 minutes walk to Saltwood village, where buses go to Hythe and Folkestone - 8 minutes walk across the woods to Sandling station which has regular links to London, Dover and Folkestone but if it rains you need to follow the road and that takes 25 minutes walk. A car is recommended but for those who enjoy walking or cycling the area is lovely. Taxis are available too from the station. We can recommend reliable taxi companies.

Supermarkets are in Hythe. Plenty of car parks in Hythe and on the seafront.

Mother of 3 children, who all grew up on our property. I used to run my foreign students school from Hayne Barn. It was a real paradise for these teenagers. I ran a ski chalet in Meribel in France for 10 years. Now I am enjoying my retirement and my sporting activities, cycling, mountaineering in the winter, hiking!! Great fun!! Family life keeps me very busy too.
