Lovely house Perfect for what we needed Not a criticism but just observations, The floorboards upstairs are extremely squeaky, so something to be aware of if you sleep downstairs! & solid floors & steps throughout were a little difficult with a 1 yr old! Would happily return if we were in the area

My family and I (12of us) had a wonderful break with Kate. The location is beautiful and the children loved seeing the cows and horses. The kitchens are very well equipped, I always take a couple of my own pots and pans for cooking but tbh we really didn’t need them here. We had a couple of minor issues while we were there, such as the electric car charging point not working properly. However all were promptly resolved the following day which was brilliant. I’d like to mention the nearby pub The Boot, for their exceptional service. I was struggling to find a take away afternoon tea nearby for my mum who has limited mobility. The staff at the Boot put together a wonderful spread for us to enjoy back at the lodge. Overall we had an amazing break away for all the family and even the rainy weather didn’t spoil it for us. We’d love to come back again in the summer. Thank you for having us all.

Stayed with my family for NYE. The house was wonderfully located with a number of fantastic walks and picturesque views to wake up to. The house was spotless and everything in good working order. The check-in was hassle free and extremely well managed by Kate and her team to ensure my family received the best service and minimal stress. Kate was always on hand to answer any questions that I may have. The visitor welcome book was on hand to enable us to choose any activities we fancied in the local area ( not needed as there were plenty to do in the house) I would absolutely recommend this for any groups looking to book this in future including those with children. Will definitely be looking to book this again in the future. Thanks again to Kate and everyone involved in making this getaway so enjoyable.

Hired all three cottages as celebrated 2 birthdays, which this place was fantastic for. The only negative was the check in time, this being 4pm it could have been more flexible in dark winter months. It doesn't give you enough time to set surprise celebrations up, therefore getting from car to cottage was dangerous walking in the dark for my 90 year old mother.
