Followed directions & found it easy enough. Owners live next door so when we arrived Anna came to meet us. House was spotless & she had kindly left us a welcome hamper, including treats for our doggies & a bottle of wine & beer; toiletries in bathrooms & toilet rolls. House was warm & she left the fire ready for us to light - there was also a vase of fresh flowers in the hallway. All rooms were very spacious - in fact we didn't realise that there were two dining areas, one in the kitchen and one in the lounge. Plenty of books/games; very comfy furniture and beds. More than enough utensils/equipment in the kitchen; large gardens front and back, backing onto a field and a small walk to the estuary. Our dogs loved it. A perfect location to get around; we visited the Butt & Oyster a few times and it didn't disappoint - food, staff & beer fab. Suffolk Food Hall worth a visit as are Harwich (Alma Inn a Must for food); Sutton Hoo (Viking Burial grounds); Orford; Dedham & Flatford .

This is a lovely spot near to the beach and great dog walking It was quiet and had great views It’s very well equipped and the kitchen offers home from home even the cake tins ! Had to buy foil and clingfilm but everything else was great An amazing stocked welcome hamper with crisp and wine and beer and fabulous bread juice milk tea coffee shortbread brownies Perfect We struggled with the taste of the water so bought bottles to use in the kettle and that was fine We really enjoyed our stay

The hosts Anna and Adam are very kind, their cottage is beautiful and equipped very well. Everything we needed was there, pots , dishes, ovens etc are of high quality. They even brought more toys for the children. Nice garden with tables, BBC, beautiful surroundings. Maybe it should be mentioned that the photographs are taken with a wide-angle lens – which means the rooms do look larger here than they are in reality. This applies especially to the ground floor, where the ceiling is quite low: if you are over 1.90 metres tall, be aware that you'll constantly need to mind your head. Sorry for the Jug, Anna! We did non realize we should not have put it into the dishwasher before leaving. Thanks again!
