Paradise! The cottage is located on Hart Bay, and has an amazing view of the Carribean Sea. You can fall asleep to the sound of waves. You will stay in the upstairs one bedroom apartment with your own private entrance. The owner’s live in the lower level. Private pooI area. It’s an older cottage with an outdoor shower. There are 67 steps down to cottage from parking area. There are steps that lead to a trail and rocky beach. West Indies style cottage. There are 67 steps to the cottage from parking area, so we recommend being in good cardiovascular shape. There are steps from house that lead to the Hart Bay trail and a rocky beach. The cottage has been updated with new windows, plumbing and central a/c. It’s bathroom and outdoor shower have not been updated, so it still has its rustic charm. There are cats on property. Host will not be utilizing pool, so you will have your own private pool area. We recommend renting a vehicle. Taxi’s charge per person and can get pricey. We supply beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler. There is a bin filled with snorkel gear you can borrow from. We offer a free parking space in Cruz Bay you can park in after 5:00 Mon-Fri, all day on Sunday. This allows you to go to shops and restaurants in Cruz Bay without having to pay for parking.

We had a great stay at Ramona and Chris’s place on St. John. Gorgeous spot and responsive and great hosts!
I can’t thank Chris and Ramona enough. This Airbnb/vacation is something that my Fiancé and I will never forget. It truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience and their home was just absolutely breathtaking we were obsessed with it the whole trip. It felt like a little peace of heaven. On top of this, I messaged Chris throughout our stay and he could not have been more accommodating, helpful, and just genuinely kind. We will legitimately be considering staying here again in the near future and that is something we don’t normally do. Thanks so much to Chris and Ramona!
Ramona and Chris were great hosts! The space is beautiful and its location is perfect. There’s a nice trail along the beach at the bottom of their stairs and it’s only a few minutes from Cruz Bay. They really went above and beyond for us and made sure we enjoyed our vacation. We will certainly be back!
We could not have had a better host or accommodations than Chris & Ramona at Odessa! The beautiful views from inside and the deck, including a stingray in the bay, an iguana perched in the trees and of course plenty of curious crabs, cute cats, and scurrying lizards made it hard to leave the property. However, the adventures beyond did not disappoint with an easy hike from the house down to the shore and Chris & Ramona's excellent recommendations for delicious food, fun hikes, and great snorkles all across the island. We cannot thank Chris & Ramona enough for making our stay on St. John feel like home, equipping us for every adventure, and providing us a great intro to the USVI!
We had an unforgettable stay at Chris and Ramona’s cottage. The views were absolutely beautiful and everything we needed for our adventures, like a cooler and beach chairs, was available to borrow. It was our first time in STJ and we found the location to be perfect for getting places easily in our rental car. Chris also has a parking spot in town that makes driving into Cruz Bay for dinner a breeze. Loved the property cats also, we’ll miss greeting them every morning! Everything was perfect, highly recommend!
