The location was beautiful and the host was responsive when we asked for coffee maker and cups. The place was big to accommodate 9 to 10 people easily. There were multiple terraces and beautiful views of the lake surrounding. The area was safe and quiet which we loved. However, the house needed deep cleaning on floors and carpet, and bathrooms. The basement was a bit smelly which is probably due to being near water and due to lack of ventilation.

I know it's a shame when companies hire people to clean behind their clients. However, the people VN Realty hired could have done a better job. They left trash on the back patio, the dishwasher had water in the dishwasher (sitting), the refrigerator was not clean, and one of the showers upstairs had hair on the wall in the shower. The house would be a great place to stay, but the smell from the dishwasher was horrible. Also, going downstairs was a mess and smelly, but I think they were starting to rent this place out, which was a trial and error. It is a lovely house and has lots of space. They need to let me clean that house for clients. I would rent out this house again if the owner get a better cleaning crew.

The house smelled horrible. It took us 2 days to realize the garage was full of trash bags and the trash cans were full of maggots. I got so sick the 1st night from the smell. The vents all look like black mold is coming out. It's obvious the house is NOT being maintained at all. The yard has a bunch of dead plants and you can tell the inside is just patched up to hide things. The comforter in the master is filthy if you flip it over. They have done the bare minimum to have this as an airbnb. The pillows are all so flat and the kitchen hardly has anything to cook with. The floors in the whole are unlevel and I didn't dare step foot on the balcony off the master as it was leaning. We really wanted to love this home but unfortunately it's seems to be falling apart and just not cared for.
