Me and my children loved our stay at Rox’s cottage. It is very private , no neighbours in site. The cottage is beautiful and so are it’s surroundings. It really was a perfect place to relax with the family from hiking trails , to canoeing and kayaking to the sand bar. The fire pit was huge and there was lots of wood available to burn. Lots of board games to play at night and dvds to watch as well. So well equipped with everything you could need. We really felt right at home.

This was our first stay through an Airbnb and Rox’s cottage has set the bar very high. We were wowed as we walked through the door with the beautiful, clean, open concept space. So much natural light from all the windows, also allowing for beautiful lake views. The lake is great for swimming. The kids and dogs had a blast swimming and paddling on the kayak and SUP to the sandbar. We also able to secure our own boat to the dock. The boat launch was conveniently close to the cottage as well. Rox was very responsive to any questions we had. Her directions made the place easy to find and check in. The person al welcome note with a treat to welcome us was such a lovely unexpected surprise. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t stay longer. We felt very much at home in this beautiful cottage and highly recommend!

Once discovered, communicating with Rox was easy, her demeanour created an immediate connection. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay with her personal touches. The property itself is stunning in a traditional Quebec cabin fashion, in the heart of the Canadian Shield. For someone looking to unplug and reset, Rox's place allows one to do just that. It is far enough off the beaten path but still close enough to amenities if needed. The Sand Bar was the highlight of every day. Leisurely swimming, paddling, bird watching, floating along with the family pup. Meal preparation in the well equipped kitchen was a cinch. BBQ's. Campfire S'mores, toasting marshmallows make for cherished memories. Drifting off to sleep in cozy beds, listening to the night songs of the loon, frog and cricket was blissful and refreshing. We left feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the opportunity to experience such a beautiful place. It was fantastic! Thank you!

What a week we had at this lovely Lakeside! We walked through the door and were wowed by the huge kitchen island, smooth concrete floors, natural wood and windows all around to take in the views. Our dogs felt as welcome as we did, Rox left a dog bed for them! The beds are super comfortable and the bathroom has every amenity and fluffy white towels. We went for the outdoors, although the interior was hard not to enjoy! There’s plenty of trails but it’s a swimmer’s paradise! You can walk right in, explore the endless shallow sandy shoreline and float over to the massive sandbar. You’ll love Mulligans store to restock as they have everything you could need. We met the locals and dined at Rustik 55. Best poutine ever! We had a small power interruption due to a storm, but Rox immediately got in touch to check on us and offering ice etc. All was well! We felt at home in this beautiful Lakeside retreat and highly recommend staying here! Great host! Great property! Great community!
