自我介绍

I'm a military veteran, writer, handywoman, and now a lecturer at Cornell. I renovated the west hill cottage as a passion project when I left the Air Force. I bought a bunch of tools I didn’t know how to use, watched a lot of YouTube and Fixer Upper, and learned as I went! The vision was to create a cozy space where mid-century meets modern farmhouse. I hope you enjoy staying here as much as I enjoyed designing it and fixing it up! It truly makes my heart so happy when this sweet cottage gets to welcome new guests from all around the world. I want you to walk in and feel like you’ve entered an oasis where you can relax and make new memories with loved ones. Build a fire, break out some board games, settle in an Adirondack chair to read a book, cook group meals in a magazine-worthy Chef’s kitchen, grill outside and play lawn games, strum on the guitar in the living room — this space was meant to bring people together, and we hope you use every inch of it! <3
