A lovely, cosy place to stay for the weekend. Rupert & Janet were very welcoming and accommodating. There were lots of lovely touches like fresh flowers, eggs and other essentials provided- including decaf! The log burner was lovely too.
Both Rupert and Janet made us feel very welcome and were on hand if required with nothing too much trouble. Everything you needed for your stay was there including extras that we didn’t expect like bread, jam, marmalade, eggs , milk tea and coffee. Very unexpected but welcome. A really kind friendly couple.
Rupert and Janet were friendly and so helpful to us during our stay. The barn is beautiful and felt like a home from home. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
Good comfortable accommodation with everything you need with Lovely hosts who are responsive to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Rupert & Janet were very welcoming from booking to greeting us on arrival. They made us feel very at home, welcome, and comfortable. And also we’re very accommodating to our children and dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again. Thank you both for being so warm and kind.
We are easily found as we are situated on the B4221 not far from jct 3 of the M50. In the rural village of Gorsley we are surrounded by woodland with lots of walks. Nearby there is a children’s playground, coffee shop and community shop & post office. The Roadmaker is a Nepali owned pub and restaurant serving Nepali food during the week and a traditional roast on Sundays. We are in easy reach of Ross-on-Wye, Symond’s Yat, the Malvern Hills and the Forest of Dean.
We have a guest parking bay outside our property, but also plenty of parking inside should that be necessary.
