Heating the pool and spa was well worth the cost. Very warm and made the house worth the stay. The inside of the house could use some love and care. A few broken things and furniture is not the best for large groups. Not much for kitchen utensils. Staining on carpets. Location was great. Close enough to everything, but set away from the traffic of LA.

I took my kids, spouses and grandkids to visit my brother in Monrovia. The house was very comfortable and so close to my brother! It sure beats having us all separated in a hotel!

Me and my family had a great stay visiting our beautiful hometown of Monrovia. The house matched the description and pictures. The house was very clean and has everything you need. The neighborhood is very peaceful and there is many things to do nearby. Definitely would stay here again.

The place was spacious, nice, and clean. The backyard could use some TLC. Neighborhood was lovely and walkable to downtown Monrovia restaurants.

Nice place. Very quiet and convenient neighborhood. We enjoyed the yard a lot. Some furnitures are slightly different from the pictures(sofa, table, etc.) Jack is a nice host but doesn’t reply in time. It seems that he had read the messages but for some reason, he didn’t reply. Also it takes long time to heat up the pool. I’m not sure if there’s some problem with the pool. But after heating it for almost one day, the pool is still too cold to use.
