We had a great stay at Bearfoot. The pics are accurate and the description was, too. It is remote and private and I can see how in winter months it would be hard to get to but they make that very clear in the description. The WiFi worked well for us. It was plenty of space the two couples. We would stay again.

I love the house and it’s beautiful the only thing I have to say is that at least the bed downstairs is terrible I was not able to sleep the 2 nights I stay, very uncomfortable. And the second thing was the water heater if you try ti use both bathroom at the same time you will run out of hot water, the fist day I had to get out of the shower with shampoo on my hair because the water turned freezing cold lol. You will be ok as long as you used one shower at the time and leave some time in between showers for the water ti heat up again. Other than that the place is great. The views are awesome and the surrounding very peaceful. I recommend the place to everyone who wants a quiet and peaceful vacation. Love the location, close to a lot of places. I will return to this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bearfoot's Nantahala Retreat! The cabin was exactly as pictured, no surprises at all. In the evenings we enjoyed playing pool and making smores by the fire pit. We can hardly wait to plan a return trip!

Bearfoot was beautifuland quaint. Easy to get to. Easy to check in and I didn't once have to ask for anything. The place and surroundings were all beautiful and the cabin was 20-30 mins away from everything. shopping, hiking, food and more.
