Great spot for a quick weekend trip! The house was clean and spacious in a very safe and quiet neighborhood with quick access to downtown Charleston.
Tasha's place was awesome! Super clean and cute. Fully stocked with everything we needed. Really nice neighborhood close to restaurants and an easy drive to downtown.
If you take everything great about other Airbnb stays and put them all together- you will have Tasha’s place. She has thought of everything. The location was convenient to all the things we wanted to do. It was safe, clean, and beautifully decorated. I could write a book about all the things I loved- but I’ll hit the highlights. 1-kitchen equipped will all the necessities and more. It was easy to whip up a quick breakfast, etc. 2- the place was comfortable and very clean. Sofas and beds were perfect. 3- Tasha was very communicative. She has thought of everything in terms of both physical needs as well as information. I highly recommend staying with her if you are looking to stay in Charleston.
Our family enjoyed this nicely renovated home in a quiet mid century century neighborhood in North Charleston. It was an easy 20 minute trip to downtown, or slightly longer to Folly Beach. Within a few minutes drive is River Front Park and a range of restaurants. The large private backyard let the kids catch some sun. Tasha is an excellent host and was very quick to respond with helpful information to our messages. Thanks for the local coffee and treats, and for being so gracious about our hiccup at check out.
Developed in 1912, Park Circle served as a working-class neighborhood of modest single-family homes for the workers of the area’s factories and nearby Naval Base. It was completed shortly before World War II. But as time went on and with the closure of major employers, the economy took a hit and the area suffered and many people moved.
But, in the 2000s, Park Circle regained popularity and there was a resurgence in the area! Restaurants, bars, and families began to again see its potential with the walkability, parks and green space, and the lively East Montague strip.
Since then, Park Circle has been the crown jewel of North Charleston from the duck ponds, historic churches, farmer's market, festivals, live music and parks, it is a wonderful collaboration of a semi-urban, mixed-use neighborhood that's great for singles, couples, young families and empty-nesters alike.
Personal vehicle is the best choice for getting around North Charleston in general. However, Park Circle is also friendly to golf carts and good ole' fashioned walking around. It's the best way to experience all the charm that it has to offer!
