Lytham St Annes · 整套出租单元 · 1室2床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · Cosy & Calm Escape by the Sea
Clean, colourful and calming, my cosy apartment is perfect for those wanting a homely retreat for a staycation or business trip. Centrally located only a stone's throw away from St. Anne's high street, it is very convenient for the beach, local shops and restaurants, yet is on a quiet residential road so is peaceful. Great base to explore from, it's only a 6 min walk away from St Anne's train station, with good transport links to Blackpool, Preston and beyond. My apartment is a lovely light and calming space. You’ll be staying in the main bedroom with en-suite and wardrobe space, and will also have access to the main bathroom which has a bath. The apartment is deceptively big with a hallway that keeps going back! The living room is a generous size complete with areas for relaxing, plus a desk/work station. The sofa may be used as a sofa bed on request with more than 2 guests. The kitchen is well equipped as this is my home, and is a generous and colourful space including a table/chairs for dining. There is also a separate utility room within the apartment with a washing machine and tumble dryer. Plenty of room to relax or work, but mainly enjoy!
Cloe, waas great to deal with, apt in perfect location, close to everything, whilst being quiet and relaxing
Extremely accommodating and excellent communication. She was very timely in her responses and very understanding. The location was great!
Felt it really homely, walking distance from the beach and some lovely restaurants! It was huge to be fair, didn’t expect it to be as big! The pictures don’t do it justice!
We had a lovely stay here!! It was so cosy and a great location! Would definitely recommend xx
A nice quiet residential area very close to the main High Street and a few mins walk to the beach.
My flat is less than a 2 min walk from the centre of St. Anne’s – the high-street, otherwise known as St. Anne’s Square or “The Square”, so is very convenient for accessing local shops and amenities on foot. It is also less than a 5 min walk from the local beach and pier!
You also have the option to park your car on my private parking space for the duration of your stay, but if you wish to explore further afield or get here without a car, here are some options:
TRAINS
My flat is just a 5 min walk away from St. Annes-on-the-Sea train station, so is very convenient for getting to by train.
You can explore the local area (Blackpool, Manchester, Preston, the Lake District, etc) via the train network, but I would recommend looking online for train times and tickets as they change all the time!
You can buy train tickets at the station, on the train, and online. I would recommend the latter for seeing the price in advance, and because St. Anne’s train station is very small, so the ticket office usually closes quite early in the afternoon (around 14.00).
See the Trainline or search for other UK train ticket website providers.
BUSES
The main bus shelters are a short 3-4 min walk from my flat, at the beach end of the high street.
Tickets are normally bought when you get on the bus, prices can vary depending on where you want to go/a single fare vs return journey (though currently for early 2023 prices are set at £2/journey/adult for the local area).
If you stand on the side of the road that has B&M, Tesco Express, WHSmith, etc:
No. 68: Takes you to Preston
No. 17: Takes you to Blackpool
No. 11*: Takes you to Lytham and Blackpool
If you stand on the opposite side of the road that has Café Nero, Santander Bank, etc:
No. 7: Takes you to Cleveleys
No. 68: Takes you to Blackpool
No. 11*: Takes you to Lytham and Blackpool
*The No. 11 is a circular route. The No. 7 also takes you to Blackpool on-route to Cleveleys. See the Blackpool Transport website for times/details for these bus routes, as well as the No. 17. Blackpool Transport buses are black & yellow.
For details of the No. 68 see the Stage Coach Bus website. This is probably the most direct bus to Blackpool.
TRAMS
St. Anne’s does not have a tram service, but you can get the No. 68 bus to Blackpool Starr Gate, and then get on the tram to explore the Blackpool seafront/attractions. The tram goes all the way up to Fleetwood, which has the “Affinity” outlet shopping centre.
Tickets are usually purchased from the conductor when you get on the tram, and you can get a day pass, 3-day pass, or weekly pass. More info/prices can be found at the Blackpool Transport website
TAXIS
At the time of writing Uber has not yet come to St. Anne’s! However, there are a few local taxi services, including:
Whiteside Taxis
Premier Taxis
Fylde Taxis
AIRPORTS
The closest airport is Blackpool Airport, however, frustratingly it no longer offers any commercial flights.
The closest and best-served commercial airports are Manchester and Liverpool.
