We enjoyed a fabulous stay at Brighton! The house was grand with lots of space & character, easily accommodating our seven family members. Felt nice and private and was very comfortable. Excellent location - walking distance to Brighton beach in one direction and Church st shops and cafes the other. The addition of small things, like a beach umbrella, BBQ in the lovely yard or some board games to amuse kids etc would have made it even better! Thanks for hosting us.

This air bnb was amazing, we stayed with two families and it was perfect. It is so big and the photos don’t do the place justice. The real thing is much better than the pictures. Had everything we needed. The house is huge, rooms and huge. We loved our stay and would stay again for sure!

This house has the foundations for a great stay, in a great location, but some of the polish just wasn't there for the price that we paid. It's a huge, grand house, but the inside is slightly spartan -- like it's not quite moved in. It was great to have the pool on some of Melbourne's hot days, but the garden setting is a bit neglected. Particularly the frontyard looks a bit uncared for. And the last thing I'll mention is cleanliness: there seemed to be a fair amount of dust around the place and in internal<>external doorways, and one of the sets of sheets was particularly water-stained (and we discovered why when the roof began to leak during a downpour)

House is BEAUTIFUL. Kitchen poorly equipped for a family e.g no potato peeler. Basic things missing e.g. not enough large pots for 5 bed house with 8 guests. Only 2 bathrooms not 3. Host refused to allow Air BnB to send us the floor plan and video she sent them showing where the 3rd bathroom was hiding! Why would she refuse to? But several rooms locked. Downstairs toilet has a big plunger next to it and we discovered why when the toilet blocked and there was raw sewage on the paving stones outside the kitchen window. Air BnB have pictures of this. Air-con only works upstairs OR downstairs but not together. The house was 27 degrees inside! We have texts from the host confirming this and giving us instructions not to use the air-con for both areas at the same time. Garden is a complete mess, lawn not cut for weeks and weeds 2 foot high coming out of the paving stones around the pool area; pool very cloudy. Air BnB have pictures of this. Just not at described. Such a shame - great house
