Very cute, stylish lodging just outside town; I loved the setting & decor. The bedroom & bath are rather tight quarters, but do the trick. Listing stated I'd receive an email with the lockbox code, which never arrived. I messaged the hosts & Tom quickly let me know that the door would be unlocked & keys available. Worked fine as I didn't even bother to lock the door, just noting. It wasn't clear to me that Tom & Bethann also live in the barn. This can be a bonus, but should be clarified in the listing. I heard everything from phone calls to footsteps to drilling/hammering. Tom did message me apologizing for the tool noise when he realized I was home. Given that the unit would be open for several days after I left, though, the choice to engage in that kind of activity while they had a guest was unfortunate. Having said that, I'd stay again & also recommend to others, keeping in mind that while you have a private entrance, you're sharing walls with others.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Very peaceful and quiet. Great views of the stars at night! Super comfy bed made it hard to get up in the mornings:) Had all the amenities I needed. Would happily stay here again!

Wonderful little hideaway suite just outside town. I volunteered at the Sunflower Relay Race over the weekend and got to my Aid Station in 12 minutes (which meant I could sleep in a bit). Loved the theme of the suite and the horses that greeted me as I drove along the gravel road. Thank you!

We visited Winthrop for the balloon festival and were pleasantly surprised to find this beautiful cozy place. This place is right across all the balloon launch sites. We could see these balloons from our windows. Tom and Bethann were very responsive for our requests. We hope to visit again.

Our stay was amazing! This place is not far from town but in the country with the most beautiful views!! The friendly animals are an experience in itself. Hosts are attentive and wonderful. One thing to note is, there is no way to cook other than a microwave and BBQ. just be prepared 😊 also, I would suggest all wheel or 4 wheel drive when going down the long drive way, in the season of soft ground, our 2 wheel drive barely survived the driveway 🤣 nothing negative to speak of, just come prepared for mountain camping! ♡ Thanks, Bob and Bethann! 😊❤️ we will be back!
