The Surfhouse was a great venue for us to celebrate our granddaughter’s first birthday. We enjoyed our visits to the beach, and the easy access to great restaurants in Carmel-by-the-sea. The Surfhouse has a nice floor plan, excellent appliances and a user friendly kitchen. We look forward to staying at this house in the future.

We had a delightful stay at Joseph's place in Carmel by the Sea. Our multi-generational family found the accommodation perfect for our needs. The photos accurately depicted the space, which we found to be spacious and well-designed, particularly the open floor plan connecting the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools necessary for preparing simple meals, and having a washing machine and dryer available made laundry a breeze. The proximity to both the beach and downtown Carmel was fantastic, allowing us easy access to both natural beauty and local amenities, including world-class restaurants just a few blocks away. We also enjoyed the Monterey Bay Aquarium which was a quick drive. The four bedrooms were all generously sized, and the kids were thrilled with the toys and books in the bunk bed room. Overall, we highly recommend Joseph's place to anyone seeking a wonderful rental experience in Carmel by the Sea.

Joseph was so helpful and quick to respond. Getting around Carmel can be confusing with no addresses but he gave very clear instructions. Location was ideal with equal distance to downtown Carmel and the beach. The home itself is lovely. Was very clean and well stocked. Had everything needed in the kitchen. We had my family stay for my husbands work and the house was well organized for children and had everything necessary (bunk beds, high chair, children’s books, baby gate, etc). We had some issues come up with our travel plans but Joseph was very helpful, responsive, and understanding. We would certainly recommend and we hope to stay there again!

Great location, the house had everything we needed and more. We had small kids with us and were pleasantly surprised to see lots of kids books and toys for the little to enjoy. Easy walk to the beach and downtown and Joseph was very responsive before and during our stay for any questions we had. Would love to go back!

We had a fabulous time staying at this home. My boys did lots of surfing and we enjoyed amazing sunsets at the beach. The house is in an amazing location. It's a perfectly appointed AirBnb and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
