We liked the sweet little private beach and beautiful location, and hottub. Most of the desk and grounds staff were friendly enough. Appreciated the complimentary first round of fire wood (both indoor and outdoor fireplaces). However, this is not a resort, this is a beach shack. The price was a little high for such a tiny cabin, the bedrooms have no closets or storage space or furniture, no soundproofing (you can hear the person in the other bedroom breathing through closed doors/shared walls). We booked and paid in full for a pet-friendly room online, then 2 days later got an email saying we would be charged more money for the pet fee again. Hot tub closes early at 9:30pm

The cabins are charming, fully stocked, and well insulated for chilly nights. The resort was happy to provide extra towels and pillows for us. They also provided 2 bundles of firewood upon checkin. We stayed 4 nights so we needed to purchase 2 more bundles. The little market had last minute items, we bought ice cream and items to make smores. Eastsound is not far, for more necessities. One thing- the resort advertises whale watching tours, and having a boat pick you up directly from their resort. We booked a tour, but discovered the boat no longer picks you up and you need to drive to Orcas Ferry. This was not a huge deal, it’s a short drive, but the advertising was part of the reason we booked our stay. With it being our first stay on the island, just hoping the resort can update that info on their website to reflect current seasonal conditions. We were able to see harbor seals and otters every night, with the sunset. Overall a great stay and we hope to return again one day.

Such a fun, cute place. Pristinely clean and the check in, even after hours, was super easy! Great coffee in the morning and you can hear the beach waves while you fall asleep.

Great February get away with our family. We lucked out as far as weather goes and we’re able to enjoy camp fires in front of the cabin.
