Isidro is super responsive, when I had questions or issues, he addressed them immediately. The space is spacious and I especially liked the kitchen which is well stocked and useful. The place is clean and tidy. One note for those who wonder about noise--this is on the first floor so if you know anything about old towns in Spain you know that you can hear lives outside. The street is super private and does not have a lot of walk and car traffic, so during the day, you can hear people talking and walking by sparingly. But at night it's crazy quiet. People are just respectful of each other.
We were very dissapointed with the flat due to several reasons: 1. The listing said we have a private balcony/patio and this was not true. Once we raised this with the host, they ignored it and changed their listing the next day. 2. The flat was very cold - for 48 hours we had to have non stop heating at 31•celsius so make it even remotely ok. This of course made the air in the appartment horrible. 3. The ceilings are extremely low and there is not a lot of natural light as it is in the upper ground floor, which gives the appartment a clastrophobic feeling. This is very different from how it appears in the photos - light and spacious. 4. The place has a deteriorating feeling, it would need maintenance. We also noticed some mold. As we were travelling with a baby, these issues were even more problematic and greatly affected our stay. They offered us free cancellation on the first day, but finding a good alternative was impossible so last minute as most places are booked.
Appartement is fijn voor een stedentrip. Goede bedden, fijne douche, keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. Supermarkt en bakkerij om de hoek. Je loopt zo het hart van Carmen in. Alle hoogtepunten op loopafstand. Centraal station is half uurtje lopen.
Amazing spot to enjoy Valencia. Flat is well equipped and nicely designed. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it.
