We had a great stay at Yvonne and Pats lovely gite. Both were very friendly but respected our privacy. Linen and bedding was of excellent quality and the kitchen was well equipped. Pat made a point of quickly and efficiently resolving a couple of small maintenance issues which we had. The garden was lovely ( a credit to Yvonne) and a peaceful place to relax next to the pool. Local restaurant recommendation was very good. Pleasant walks from the house and bakery a short drive approx 4 km No reservations in recommending

We three ladies over 60 enjoyed this gite very much indeed. The lovely gite has been sympathetically & authentically restored, but with modern bathrooms, white goods & all necessary equipment. The rooms are spacious & cool if you take the right precautions against the heat (up to 39C for our visit). Though situated in a very small hamlet, the garden was private & prettily planted, with many seating opportunities & far-reaching country views. There is a working barn in one direction, but too far away to spoil the ambience. Star gazing was fabulous & the peacefulness very soothing. We enjoyed the large pool very much, kept clean & at a good temperature. We didn't have to share it with others, though that will depend on who else is staying in the other gite. Pat and Yvonne were friendly & responsive hosts, but never intrusive. This is a fabulous location from which to explore some beautiful countryside. We highly recommend this gite to those looking for a quiet rural break.

Pat & Yvonne are such kind people who warmly suggested some lovely places to visit. It was a joy relaxing by the pool, reading a good book. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the little beaches by the rivers are set up so well for family fun.

Pat was very friendly and we found the place fairly easily. There was. I barbecue on the premises but after asking Pat gave us one which was great! It is a very quiet and peaceful location which we really appreciated. However , there is a massive barn facing the house which you look at from the veranda which was a little bit disappointing. It’s quite an eyesore but the charm of the place inside made up for it!
