Raj’s place was wonderful. Perfect location in Cavelossim. Swimming pool in the compound, a beautiful beach was a short walk. Perfect when you have two young kids. Apartment was as advertised and cleaned daily. Small kitchen is stocked with basic kitchenware needed. We met Raj who was very friendly and most helpful. We had the misfortune of a broken child’s buggy on arrival. We told Raj, who took it away to try fix it. When that wasn’t viable, he arrived back within hours with a brand new one for us to use! It was amazing service and really made our stay so much more comfortable. Similar when we requested a travel cot. Vinod, who takes care of the place, came with one. Vinod was also on hand when we needed assistance with spare sheets late at night. Nothing was too much bother for them. All the restaurants in the area we ate in were fantastic. The Novotel is directly across the road. You can pay to use their facilities daily. We did so when they also served a Sunday brunch.

Our accommodation was incredible, in a great location, right by the pool and the beach, yet all to ourselves, surrounded by a sea of flowers. Everything was quiet and clean and Vinod was always available. The house has everything you need and the cleaning service comes daily if you want. (The only thing that could be improved are the very hard mattresses in the one bedroom and if the power goes out, there is a system that wakes you up, perhaps it could be installed in the kitchen or bathroom? The surroundings are fantastic with the river and the beach, we made a great trip to Fort Cabo da Rama, it's worth it! We met a lot of nice people and ate very well, especially at Fishermans Shack from Ramesh. Fiona's fruit stall on the street and Ali's store in the colonnades also had great things and great conversations. We were in paradise, we'll be back! Roman + Mara

Vinod and Raj were both extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay easy and pleasant. The house was clean and comfortable with everything you need. The bed in the master bedroom was surprisingly comfortable and cosy and there was a washing machine so we could keep on top of laundry. There was a store for groceries a two-minute walk away and the Novotel was just across the street. There are two great swimming pools at the Luisa by the Sea complex where this Airbnb is located, but if we wanted a change of scene, we'd just walk over the Novotel and get their buffet lunch and then use their big pool as well (access is included if you buy the buffet). This stay was a real highlight of our trip to India.
