The cottage is perfectly located to make the most of all that Whitby has to offer. It’s very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The hosts were able to offer practical advice regarding parking and flexible check-in. We will definitely be back. Many thanks.
Great accommodation, lots of character with fab views, would definitely recommend and revisit. Welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Just struggled to find on arrival however parking tips from the hosts prior to visit was greatly appreciated. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The cottage is very centrally located but as tucked away one only hears the seagulls which is lovely. The cottage is just about big enough for two adults. We did struggle going up and down the steep stairs especially at night getting to the bathroom. The cottage has maximised the space and is well equipped and tastefully decorated with loads of nick nacks The vicinity to the beach is ideal especially if you have a dog. Thank you for the welcome package. Parking however is a bit tricky.
My first time in Whitby and loved the place, felt right at home. We'll definitely be coming back again, especially to the same cottage which was beautiful, clean and homely and the decor was amazing. The host was also friendly giving us advice regarding car-parking, and we received a welcome basket of treats which was a lovely gesture. We pre-booked our evening meals at the Magpie (make sure to pre-book as this restaurant gets very busy quickly) and enjoyed some great food, and only a short walking distance to many locations such as the Abbey, Lighthouse, and many shops with the locals being very friendly.
We felt relaxed as soon as we walked into this beautifully decorated place, it is lovely and light with triple aspect views on the ground floor to the Abbey and across the town. The beds are so snuggly, it was lovely and warm and nice to wake up to the sound of seagulls. We had breakfast at java cafe, just down the road, and I was amazed how quiet it was yet so close to everything Whitby has to offer.
