We had a wonderful time staying at Matthew & Susan's place for our family vacation with 8 adults and 3 babies. There was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable and the beautiful beach and views from the house itself can't be beat. The kitchen was well equipped for family meals and the beach chairs and beach toys were a great plus up. Susan was a great host, extremely responsive and flexible. Can't recommend this stay enough. We hope to be back again in the future!

Enjoyed our vacation in this home. The location is beautiful and quiet. The beach is easily accessible by all ages. We had 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 7 months thru 11 years) and thought the common area in the main house could be a bit snug, when we were all gathered there for meals. The outdoor deck and patio areas are fantastic spots to relax and watch the beautiful sunsets. The accommodations above the garage are comfortable and a nice addition to the main house. We would definitely stay here again and hope to return again next year!

Beach was beautiful with direct access to private neighborhood beach area. My family and extended family stayed here together (6 adults, 4 kids) and we had a great time. The weather was not ideal while we were there so we spent more time indoors than originally planned; given that I would personally recommend up to 12 in this place (15 would be really tight IMO). We prepared and ate almost all of our meals there - the kitchen included all the basic tools needed. Grand Haven and Holland were both easy drives for groceries and non-beach time. The beach access to this place is unbeatable and very convenient with children; I would stay again just for that.

Lovely home & beach!!! I've stayed at many places on Lake Michigan and this is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. Quiet neighborhood, garage parking, beautiful deck and amazing sunsets! Susan is a great host, responsive and easy to work with. We look forward to our stay next year!!!

This was a lovely cottage. My husband and I had all three of our adult sons and their families and dogs. Everything we needed was available for a comfortable stay. The little kids loved playing on the beach and in the water. The location was good for going to the grocery store and exploring nearby attractions. The walk down the path was very manageable. It was nice not having to deal with hundreds of stairs like with other nearby properties. Susan was easy to communicate with and we appreciated that very much. We would love to come back next year at the same time.
