Colette told us inadvance that she would be out of the country during our stay and that a friend would be there in her place. Stefan spoke no english(maybe we should have brushed up on our French)still, that made any kind of communication VERY hard. No greeting from him or check in to ask how everything was. Besides, a brief check in from Colette when we arrived, no communication from either. Based on other reviews, seems like Colette is very friendly and a good source of info on the island. We would have liked to chat with her a little during our stay and to have a little interacation with someone. We LOVE dogs but were a somewhat concerned about who her one dog chased and barked at our car everytime we drove in and out. Worried we would accidently hit him. The villa was really well decorated and sweet. A few things that we were missing. An extra roll of paper towels, an extra dish towel or two and a few extra Kureg pods. We bought our own food and were able to make some nice meals.

I can only echo what other reviewers have written about this place: it is perfect for a couple, and has everything you need. In a perfect location, great quiet neighborhood, and an amazing patio with ocean view! We will definitely want to stay there again during our next visit in St Martin! (Note that Google Maps will not point to the exact location when typing in the address. It's a bit further down the street. Without the photos that Colette shared we would have had trouble finding it.)

Colette's place is in a great location, it is very spacious, ideal for 2 people. Communication was great, I recommend her place.

We had a great time. We really liked the quiet neighborhood, but easy access to all the beaches/towns by car. The home had convenient parking. The room was cozy and had a nice view overlooking the bay. Colette was very kind and helpful and made us feel very much at home. We’d definitely recommend it.

What a wonderful experience it was to stay here. Colette and Jean Pierre are lovely hosts and very accommodating. My partner and I had a magical time at this property and we look forward to staying here again as soon as we can. The town is peaceful yet it has everything you need with great restaurants in walking distance. Thank you for the special memories we have made here. Alison
