Great little house right next to the pub in a great location if you like walking or want to use as a base. Would book again but the prices have shot up since we booked , which is a shame

Booking was for my partners 27th birthday and it was truly amazing stay… beautiful location and food the was unreal…. One warning the the fish and chips (huge) 😂 Hot tub was abit tricky to get to the right temperature either too cold or boiling hot… one idea going forward maybe have them already heated for check ins? Staff very friendly and very welcoming to my dog Zeus (GSD) felt like a 2nd home. If being picky would have been ideal if the television has Netflix access as after a long day of hiking nothing better than chilling with a beer and film but overall highly recommended.

Delightful stay in No3 Wilsons Cottage! Check in at the pub next door was a doddle with a really friendly and helpful team. Plenty of parking out the back, plenty of space inside for the two of us (but can easily accommodate 4). The cottage is really nicely appointed and very comfortable. Location wise you can get to the shores of Coniston Water within a couple of miles and Coniston town itself in 3. Would definitely visit again!
