Well equipped cabin walking distance from town and beautiful forest paths. Loved the bird feeder that attracted more red squirrels than I’ve ever seen in one place. Wood burning stove was nice and cozy.

The cabin was perfect, we had the loveliest stay. It was clean, cosy & very well equipped. We loved the wood burner, bath tub & comfiest beds. We enjoyed watching a couple of resident red squirrels feed on the nut feeders right outside the window, along with many lovely birds. It was so peaceful & private yet Mette & Cornelius were on hand for everything we needed & both were really responsive & friendly & made up part of the perfect stay. The cabin is very well connected, only 50 mins to Loch Lomond & 1hr from Edinburgh. We enjoyed Stirling Castle on the way with the children which is superb! Callander, the nearest town is really quaint & Mhor Bread there is very good with lots of savoury & sweet fair. Blair Drummond farm shop (Smidders) is a great stop for some bits & bobs food wise or Mhor 84 Motel or the Mhor Hotel for a local meal. There’s also Broche cafe in wondering distance from the cabin next to a lovely children’s playground. We will 100% be back!

We had a great few days over Easter at the lodge. It was perfect for myself, wife and two children. The lodge was immaculate and matched the description and pictures perfectly. Set in beautiful surroundings, lots of local walks to do and plenty of activities in the area. We ate at Mhor 84 which I would definitely recommend. Callander is a great town on 20mins drive away, we visited Loch Katrine and went on the nature boat trip, and did a walk to Bracklinn falls. We will definitely come back again!
