We loved our stay at Edinample Lodge. Being in the beautiful surroundings of Lochernhead when the first seasonal snow fell was super special as it was my husbands first birthday away from the sunny shores of Queensland, and the first time our two Aussie sons experienced snow. We explored various places during the day, including Sterling Castle, William Wallace Monument and The Pass of Killiecrankie, and enjoyed quieter evenings in front of the wood-burning fire place. The weather was so pleasant, we find North Yorkshire weather is far colder. Perfect cottage for our needs and taste, perfect location, felt like we were back in Australia with all the space and natural surroundings, a home away from home. So pleased that we found this little gem available at such short notice. Hope to make a visit to Edinample Lodge an annual event. Thank you for having us Grant.

This place is something else. A castle nearby, amazing little crook, walks, wildlife, watersporta centre 2mins in a car.

Superb accommodation. Plenty of space. Well equipped. Comfortable. Warm. Lots of potential walks from the cottage.
