We had a lovely time staying in this beautiful location. The cabin was perfect for us and the host was helpful and flexible. The only slight problem was that the listing did not mention that the electricity was on a meter and that you need pound coins to operate it.

The lodge is great value, in a great location and mostly had everything we needed. The local host (not Hoseasons) was great - very responsive, friendly and made us feel right at home. The lodge is on a park with about 7 other lodges, but even when it's full (which it was this week), it still feels private and quiet. On the downside, there is a £1 meter for electricity (including heating). It didn't say this anywhere on the listing when we booked, and we only found out the night before travelling when I messaged the local host about something else. Having now looked on other rental websites that the property is listed on, they all clearly say about the electricity meter. The local host wasn't even aware the property was on Airbnb and the fault here is clearly with them for missing this info out when listing on Airbnb. The electricity cost us £20 for a week. We've asked Hoseasons to refund this, but they are slow to respond and two weeks after our stay, we don't have resolution yet.

Great host and location. Super view of the loch. Lodges are spacious, good facilities and nice and quiet. Just remember there is now WIFI and you need an EE network card so the kids don't drive you crazy!

We spent lovely family time at Lochearnhead lodges. Chalet had everything we needed. Very friendly host.
