Mr Murphy met us and was extremely friendly and helpful giving some guidance and we had a lovely chat with him. We felt very much at home. Mr and Mrs Murphy are a lovely couple, who were wiling to ensure everything was to our liking. Super clean and comfortable cottage would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 2 bed cottage in the Romsey area. Thank you too for the very welcome starter pack..

Lovely little cottage, everything was there that you would need. Bottle of wine in the fridge, tea coffee and sugar, pit chocolate biscuits very nice touch. Lovely bright and airy. I do think in the main advert they should state 2 dogs only, not in tiny writing at the bottom. Our opinion was it wasn’t really dog friendly, no enclosed garden which meant we was open to the owners garden so had to keep the dogs on a lead, no dogs upstairs but it was all open plan, a gate would of been a good idea. No dogs to be left alone in the house which meant we had to take them absolutely everywhere in the heat and limited to where we went. The dog rules were sent to me the night before, if I had known this I wouldn’t have booked it. One last thing it states 3 small steps into the building, this was dangerous, it was just breeze blocks put up to the door frame and it wasn’t wide enough for your foot. Accident waiting to happen. If you haven’t got pets then it’s a beautiful Annexe to stay in.

A very peaceful and homely stay. A few minutes drive to the shops and attractions of Romsey. Ideal for dog owners, with lots of space, walks from the front door, and extensive playing fields very close by. John and Bryony are very kind and welcoming hosts. The cottage is quite secluded and may be difficult to find in the dark; take careful note of the directions. Highly recommended.
