The house location is amazing & the size is perfect for a large group with dogs but the house is not maintained well. The house is very dirty - the vents are caked with dust & edges of the carpets have thick layers of dust & dirt. Don’t expect to have a functioning washer and dryer. Looks like the washer has been broken for a while. Washer water wouldn’t drain & made the house smell like mold. When we reported the issues to property management, they sent automated sounding messages & never resolved the issues. Said they were sending maintenance but no one showed up. There was a hurricane at the end of our stay, but property management was notified well in advance with ample time to resolve issues if they actually wanted to. Mattresses are very uncomfortable. It is a shame they are letting the house go like this. I only recommend if you don’t care about cleanliness or functionality & only looking for location/dog friendly, but I’m sure you can find that for cheaper.

The beach house was very spacious and beautiful! A great location, close to shops, restaurants and not far from the ferry. The balconies were cozy with chairs and the hot tub. The kitchen was not very stocked though. Not enough trash bags were provided, soap for the dishwasher and there wasn't even salt and pepper in the cabinets. There were plenty of dishes, pots, pans and glasses!

We were very pleased with this sound front rental and the Vacasa group. It was very neat, clean and aligned with the description and pictures in the listing. We appreciated the amenities right down to the night lights in the bathrooms and the available plug outlets by the bedside tables in the bedrooms for overnight phone charging. Being older with limited mobility in our knees, the only thing that presented an issue was the narrow, steep stairway to climb to access the entry door. Its a little tricky with no landing at the top step especially when your carrying items. Other than that, it is a great rental!
