Ivy cottage is a wonderful place to stay, warm and cosy, immaculate and with wonderful views across clew Bay and back towards Croagh Patrick. A great place to hunker down in bad weather or base from which to explore all Mayo has to offer when it's more favourable! The cottage is well equipped, warm and spacious, we stayed here as a family with 3 kids and the layout and space suited us perfectly. This is a lovely place and somewhere we hope to return in the future.

We had a fantastic time at Rachel's home, the house was warm when we arrived, very comfortable and it had everything we needed. The views are absolutely stunning. Great base to explore Westport, Clew Bay, Achill Island and surroundings. Rachel was a super host, checking up regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We greatly appreciated the breakfast pack with tea, milk, juice and water on arrival. We felt right at home and had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend Ivy Cottage. We will definitely return!

Ivy cottage was comfortable and well equipped. It was a good location for touring both South Mayo and North Galway. Westport was a short car journey away with access to excellent retail outlets and restaurants

From start to finish the 5 day stay was fabulous. Beautiful house with amazing views of the sea and the mountains. Everything you could imagine was available in the house ideal for summer or winter stay. The Tavern restaurant just a 5 minute drive Stauntons pub a 5 minute walk both a must visit. Can't end without mentioning Henry the man with the key and all the local knowledge.!!!!. We will be back why not.
