A lovely converted barn with everything we needed. Very comfortable and clean. The location was very quiet but was close enough to main roads to make it easy to get to many locations in the area. Very quick to drive to Morrisons in Buxton for supplies (20 mins). We also enjoyed the Pooles Cavern in Buxton which made a good wet weather activity. Bakewell also within easy driving distance - attractive town with lots of cafes and restaurants. Beautiful views from the property and a nearby farm with lambs was a highlight for me.

This property is in beautiful condition. It is on the end of a converted barn in which the owners live, but due to the thick walls and layout of the building, there was no sense that the holiday cottage was connected. We had trouble finding the property as the name was not on the road side of the entrance. Also there are some busy roads visible from the cottage. However, this did not affect the beauty and peace of the area. There are plenty of trails to walk straight from the house. The house itself is very well equipped, though the internet was a little intermittent at times. The pressure of the water was lovely.

Such a beautiful place, very happy to have stayed here! Perfect size for us (2x adults, 2x kids, 1x dog) with plenty to do right on the doorstep and within a few miles. Would thoroughly recommend.

Extremely well appointed and beautiful cottage. Views outstanding from window. Outside space beautifully kept and very peaceful with chairs provided to sit and enjoy the sound of birds and the sheep, so tranquil. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Loved the location- plenty of walks straight from the door step and convenient for Buxton and Bakewell. We will certainly be wanting to stay here again.
