This condo was centrally located. It was easy to walk to grab some groceries and see many of the sites we had planned for. We were a group of four and the space was comfortable if not just roomy. The space was very clean!
Huxley’s condo in DC was absolutely perfect for my family! It was clean, more spacious than I envisioned, and in a good location to get around DC. Additionally, he was very communicative and helpful. Will definitely consider staying here in the future!
This was an excellent location for doing all of the touristy things in DC or if you need quick access to the Mall. We were within less than a mile of the Mall, capitol, and other major sites. You are also very close to Union Station for easy transit. We ended up walking most days because it was so easy. There is a close grocery store for picking up essentials. The kitchen is well stocked, though it didn't have a can opener. Earlier reviews mentioned a running toilet and that had been fixed by our stay. The only slightly weird part was the doors of the 1st bedroom can not easily be opened because the handles have been removed, which seems a bit of a hazard if there is an emergency. We didn't have any of those issues, so it didn't effect our stay. Parking is convenient but an extra 30$ a night. The space was very clean and the only thing they asked us to clean before checkout was to load the dishwasher!!
The place was nicely furnished and stocked. Very comfortable and quiet coming back to relax after a long day touring the sites. To note: the description for where you'll sleep indicates 2 bedrooms, one of them shows a queen and a single bed in the diagram. This is a bit deceiving in that the "single bed" is a rollaway in the closet that would be hard-pressed to fit in either bedroom. Fortunately there's plenty of space elsewhere. Two bathrooms was really nice to have. The location is probably the best you can get without spending over 500 a night. We walked to the National Mall in about 15 minutes. Overall we'd definitely stay here again.
All was as advertised. Clean and well maintained space. Host was available and helpful.
