This was our second time staying at Emma's home and we hope to have the opportunity to return again! The location is so wonderful - quiet with an incredible pasture view from the backyard. There are hiking trails directly down the road and the location is very close to small local farms and also brattleboro for larger grocery needs. Emma's home is incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed - a true home away from home.

Our family had a wonderful stay and we were all sad when it stay came to an end — we felt like we could have stayed forever. The home is so comfortable, the kitchen amazing to cook in, and the backyard a glorious respite. Emma and her family were so generous to share fresh eggs and veggies from their garden. This dwelling is a gem among the houses we've stayed in through Airbnb. Great location and the charm of a real home rather than a property devoted explicitly to Airbnb rentals. With a master bedroom and a kid's bedroom upstairs, and an open plan downstairs, this place with two bathrooms and an outdoor shower has plenty of room for up to four guests, just a ten-minute drive to the heart of Brattleborough, Vermont. The view from the back deck of this house nestled in the woods includes a lush garden, chicken coop (along with fresh eggs), a berry patch, and a hayfield in the distance. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be close to Brattleborough and a good location from which to make day trips; for example, MASS MoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts, is only an hour away and the excellent cycling routes in Franklin County, Massachusetts, are just a thirty-minute drive to the south. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve meals. Between the Brattleborough Farmers Market, farm stands, and the Brattleborough Food Co-op, there are plenty of places to find fresh ingredients for preparing meals at home when you don't feel like eating out. Five well-deserved stars in every category.
