We had a wonderful week staying at Casa Fuego. The casa was cozy in scale and surprisingly quiet despite its central location. The entire space felt luxurious as it was beautifully decorated with designer details throughout, yet it was a comfortable space that invited you to relax. We especially enjoyed the private rooftop terrace and breakfast service there in the mornings. Hadley was a superb host. She was easy and quick to communicate with, and provided a complementary concierges service securing us reservations at some of the best restaurants in town. It was clear to us that she took great pride in ensuring that we had an exceptional time not only in her home, but in SMA. If an extra star was possible, we'd add it to Hadley for her high level of customer service!

Between all of the positive reviews and clear description on the listing, we were sold! We came to San Miguel de Allende for a wedding weekend. The location was next to everything you’d want to walk to in town, but the house is on a very quiet street. Hadley went truly above and beyond to make our stay hospitable and luxurious. We felt so special with all of the details and offerings in the space. Already looking into when I can book a return trip so I can come back again. Highly recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants an incredible, one of a kind experience in San Miguel de Allende!

Unique is an overused term. However, Casa Proserpina is unique in its remarkable restoration and the incomparable owner/manager...Hadley. Our first visit to San Miguel de Allende could not have been better. Thanks again, Hadley.

What a beautiful and special place to stay in San Miguel! Every single detail was attended to, from cozy blankets, ready to make coffee, fresh flowers on every surface, and local furniture and decor. The location could not be better, and Hadley is an incredible resources, arranging restaurant and horse back riding and yoga for us at a moment's ask. We hope to come back!
