The home was perfect for our stay. The location was close to everything we needed and wanted to do while still being located in a beautiful, serene area. The covered porch and the picnic area were enjoyed by the family many evenings that we stayed. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. The only issue was that the gps map had the house listed on the wrong side of the road making it harder to find when arriving at night.
There were lots of things we liked about this rental, for sure. It was close to a wedding our family was attending, so the location was perfect. The decor was nice, and the bathroom and kitchen were updated and very clean. The owners were quick to get back to us when we had trouble getting the sound to work on the tv. Just a few things to note for future guests - first, there were little helpful signs throughout the place, but one said that we’d find some items in the fridge, some of which were not there. There is also a sign that says that items in a bowl on the counter are for the guests, but it was empty. Lastly, there are many aspects of the place that feel too delicate for a rental - towels in the bathroom (with a note that asks guests not to use them), handmade wood countertops, and a fully set dining room table. These didn’t take away from our stay, but are worth noting. If you’re not very tidy, this may not be the right rental for you.

We had a nice stay at Six Waterpots. The house was very clean, beds were adequately comfortable, plenty of towels, and having some welcoming items was a very nice touch (coffee, half and half in the fridge, plus hot chocolate supplies). A couple of things to note: G-maps actually has the pin for this house on the other side of the road and it was a little hard to see the house numbers from the road. It took a couple of passes to find it. Adding another towel rack or some towel hooks in the bathroom would be really nice as there is currently no place to really hang it when there are multiple guests staying.
Excellent home. Very well stocked and we wanted for nothing. Beautifully decorated, lovely views. This will be our place to stay when visiting our son and his family.
