We stayed in the cottage with my elderly mum and our 2 little toddlers and it was great! Sarah had thought of everything and the layout of the cottage was terrific especially with the two bathrooms. Everything you could need was there including a selection of gumboots and of course the cookies, eggs, jam and bread etc. Wonderful! Sarah welcomed us warmly and was sure to keep us updated on when the animals were going to be fed and she knew exactly how to deal with the kids as well as the adults. We went home after two days feeling very relaxed and our daughter even had some farm things such as beautiful feathers for show and tell at kindy. Just a really lovely little weekend away. Really lovely!

Sarah’s place has everything you need and some more for your countryside getaway! Located just 7’ drive from Maleny. The cabin is beautiful, very modern and greatly equipped. We certainly loved the bread and spreads for breakfast and for our dog to be able to enjoy him self with Sarah’s very friendly dogs!

Where to start. Sarah is the loveliest, kindest, most accommodating host. She really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. From the yummy home made bread, cookies, fresh eggs and other goodies in the fridge to the interaction and feeding of your gorgeous animals. What an absolute treat. Nothing was a problem. Thanks for organising the fire pit for our daughter and the little birthday card/gift. You really made her birthday and our time at your cottage a memorable one. We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful cottage celebrating our daughters birthday. We loved the large balcony with the fairy lights and had all the creature comforts we could need and want. We made use of the games/puzzles and really appreciated being able to bring our much loved dog along. What a little gem in the most beautiful setting with a wonderful host. Thanks for your incredible hospitality and we can’t wait to come back 😊

I’m a recently retired midwife who gave up the stress of midwifery to have a complete tree change and start goat farming. The first two years here have shown me that starting a farm is not without it’s stresses either, what was I thinking? We’re now working on plan B which is to get some miniature goats and use them in various ways to try to make a business, (goat yoga and starting our goat cream teas again). Watch this space!
