Nestled in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin, La Perla is a glamping experience set in a beautifully remodeled 1976 Airstream Sovereign. A perfect spot for a weekend get-a-way, creative retreat, or jump off spot for the Wimberley Valley and beyond. La Perla also has a beautiful outdoor shower in a clawfoot tub situated among a grove of heritage oaks. We closed when the pandemic started and are finally open to guests once more. Inside our Airstream we have taken the time to thoughtfully strip away the non-essentials while adding modern comfortable touches including a Tuft & Needle mattress, pour-over coffee station, vanity and refrigerator. Enjoy our private outdoor shower set in an antique clawfoot tub situated among a grove of heritage oaks. **Please note that although we have modern amenities, this is more of a high end camping experience than staying in a boutique resort.. We strive to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible but also want you to be aware that this is not a hotel. Restrooms and running water are located outside of the Airstream in a communal setting where you might interact with other guests. As a special note, we have another Airbnb on the on the property. Even though they are located in proximity to each other, they are separated by a mature tree line. It's possible you might interact with others in the common areas. This is all part of the outdoor experience and was created with intention as a place to step away from modern life** We've consciously chosen to be a television / Wifi free environment. We invite you to use this time to disconnect from technology and enjoy the peace and tranquility it can bring. Most major cell providers have ample 5G LTE signal.
