Amazing stay! Andrea was super friendly and quickly available if there were any issues. The accommodations were very comfortable and cozy. The property and surrounding area is nice and quiet with amazing views, while still only being minutes from plenty of things to do and places to eat. Was the perfect place to watch the Eclipse and then do some stargazing and photography. 15/10 would and probably will stay again.

Andrea was a wonderful host! She communicated well and the carriage house was private and perfect. We loved being out in the country but close enough to go back and forth to Burlington more than once a day. The car ferry to New York was just a few miles down the road and that was fun. The fall foliage was beautiful! We also loved hiking nearby Mt. Philo.

Had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s refurbished barn; truly made the Vermont experience. Clean, quiet, exactly what we needed for our stay. Loved how close it was to Burlington and Stowe without being in the hustle and bustle of those lively towns. Really peaceful and sweet area. Would love to stay again next time we are in Vermont. Small recommendation for Andrea - it’s such a beautiful space on beautiful land, would love for some outdoor seating/fire pit. Thank you again, Andrea for sharing your home!

I had such a great time staying at Andrea’s place! It was a beautiful location with a stunning view of the Adirondack Mountains. The space was clean and the perfect size for my weekend trip visiting colleges. The location was easy to get to and very close to Burlington and some other cute towns along the way. Check in was easy and straightforward and Andrea was always responsive when I had questions. Check out was also a breeze, which is always appreciated. As a solo traveler, I would’ve preferred curtains over the glass doors for a little more peace of mind, but the doors only look into the barn, so I didn’t feel exposed or uncomfortable at all. If I had the power to change one aspect of the trip, I would’ve asked for less wind at night - at times it rattled the sliding barn door and sounded like something trying to get in, lol! But that is no fault of Andrea’s, who was a lovely host with a lovely place to stay. All in all, I enjoyed my trip and would happily stay again!

We had the good fortune of simply amazing weather. 2 amazing sunsets off the porch. We walked the grounds and Whalley Road off property. Chickens, goats, cows, pigs, gardens, apple trees. Bought a lot of food from the multitude of farm stands in the area. The Shelburne Farmers market on Saturday was totally cool, Shelburne Farm itself (we walked the whole thing,) was phenomenal. You MUST go. Horseheads Nursery is a destination even if you're not buying anything. Rode our bikes through the covered bridge down to Charlotte beach. We had a sunrise and a moon rise through the old barn windows. We slept like babies. Finished on Sunday with a beautiful Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and took the ferry from Charlotte over to Essex, NY. Our trip was spectacular. Andreas place is simple and beautiful, as it should be, and she was very kind, present, and responsive.
